IM SO SATISFIED

The filthy weeb in me wants to point out that that picture of Kakashi is photoshopped and has been floating around on the Internet for at least eleven years. I am not proud of myself for knowing that. (The other stuff is legit, though.)

A GoFundMe account has been set up in Lolita’s honor to help her get released and rehabilitated from the whale-bowl at Miami SeaQuarium.

Created by Robin Jewel just today, the account has already raised $100 of its $10,000 goal. Quoted from the page, Robin states,

"This event will be the largest in the history of the United States for a captive Cetacean. Tokitae or better known as Lolita who has been a prisoner for 44 years, a slave for human entertainment in Miami Seaquarium, Miami, Fl. Lolita has been fought for since she was captured in a brutal seige on her family in 1970 in the Puget Sound of Washington State (see video). Her mother still alive, her family endangered, she still speaks the dialect exclusive to her Pod. Remarkably she is in good health, but the clock is ticking, Orca’s only live at the most 30 to 40 years in captivity. This is a non-human person who has consciousness of thought, who still wants her mother, who remembers the capture where family members were killed and weighted down and thrown back into the North Pacific Ocean. Lolita knows she is a captive and she must do tricks 3 times a day in order to get fed dead fish to survive. This march and protest is to demand her freedom, she has a full plan to re-enter her back into a seapen in the Puget sound where her family resides and she will be re-taught to feed herself as well as recieve the best of care until she is ready to be with her family. She has earned her freedom.
We will have over a thousand participants at this March, we are in need of funds to help with transportation throughout the country, for permits, to rent a park across from the seaquarium for our speakers and entertainers, as well as advertising expenses, also miscellaneous expenses such as stage setup and area for children, we want to shut down the seaquarium for the day and show people they have alternatives to entertainment. The event is January 17th, 2015 from 9:30a.m. to 5:00p.m.. Any and all donations are very appreciated and be put to Freeing Lolita, any overage will be donated to the Orca Network. Thank you for your help to FREE LOLITA.”

Visit her page at GoFundMe.com/freelolita

Lolita is an excellent candidate for wild release. She is clearly hardy and can survive the unthinkable, we know where her family is, her teeth are in good condition. HELP TOKI GO HOME!!
